Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Associations’s (WIOMSA) Marine Science for Management (MASMA) program is a competitive research grant scheme, designed to support research activities in the region as well as organization of training courses and workshops. www.wiomsa.org

Swedish Program for ICT in Developing Regions (SPIDER) The main goal of SPIDER is to support developing countries in harnessing the benefits of Information Communicatino Technology (ICT) for development and poverty alleviation. In practical terms, it means promotion of and support to relevant ICT for Development (ICT4D) efforts at partner institutions and organization in developing countries and establishment of networks of collaboration. www.spidercentre.org

ReCoMaP (Regional Coastal Zone Management Program) is an EU-funded regional program for the sustainable management of the coastal zones of the countries of the Indian Ocean. The specific objective of ReCoMaP is to strengthen the capacity of all stakeholders in order to promote sustainable management of marine and coastal resources in the countries of the Indian Ocean.
